Serena Williams has never been shy about her love for shopping. Back in 2012, she famously admitted, “I don’t like working out… but if it involves sitting down or shopping, I’m excellent at it.” And she wasn’t kidding! From her legendary ‘Hong Kong’ shopping spree in 2002, where retail therapy made her an hour late to a press event, to countless other splurges, Serena has always embraced the shopaholic life. Now, it looks like her daughter Adira is following in her footsteps! And this time, Papa Alexis Ohanian is feeling the heat. But why?

Adira may only be a year old, but she’s already stealing the spotlight in the Williams-Ohanian household! From time to time, the little star has made headlines alongside her iconic mother, Serena Williams, whether at home or out. Just last month, the 23-time GS winner shared heartwarming beachside snapshots of Adira, capturing their precious mother-daughter downtime. And who could forget last year’s viral clip of the little one showing early signs of being interested in tennis?

At just 14 months old, Adira playfully engaged with tennis balls as Serena, ever the coach, lovingly guided her. But eventually, the mischief took over, as the toddler ditched the drills and made up her own rules. Explaining the significance of Adira’s name, Serena once said, “She is a true light,” and that sentiment couldn’t be more accurate.

Now, it seems the youngest Ohanian is emulating her mother with her shopping spree too! In what could be her very first retail adventure, Adira once again turned heads.

Despite being just a toddler, Adira already has her own IG, presumably run by her proud parents, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian. And recently, her account lit up with a series of adorable snapshots, tagging Janie and Jack. The post was captioned, “When the paparazzi catches you shopping. Mama, don’t be mad!” The cuteness didn’t end there though!

Serena herself re-shared the pictures on her IG Story, proudly tagging her little one’s handle. But the real show-stealer? Dad, Alexis Ohanian’s hilarious reaction in the comments! As soon as the photos hit social media, the 41-year-old Reddit co-founder jumped into the comments, playfully exclaiming, “Is that where my credit card went!?” Looks like baby Adira is already a pro at retail therapy, and Papa Ohanian might need to keep a closer eye on his credit card from now on!
