Serena Williams tied the knot with Alexis Ohanian in the year 2017. Now the couple has a child and is happier than ever. However, in the journey of finding her soulmate, the 23-time Grand Slam champion met many prominent figures, including the world-renowned rapper Drake.

In a 2016, a Hollywood Life report revealed what Sandi Graham thought of the younger Williams sister. “Drake and his mother are really tight and like the good mensch he is. He listens to her. Sandi doesn’t really think anyone’s good for Drake. But if she had to choose one woman he’s been with, it would be Serena.”

Thereafter, the report added, “Sandi idolizes her athleticism and thinks she’s a sweet and wholesome girl, much different from the wild and over-sexualized women Drake’s been with in the past.”

The former world no.1’s gameplay charmed the singer, and he regularly attended her matches around 2011. Following that, a verse of Drake’s song Worst Behaviour took clear inspiration from Williams and he openly mentioned her in his tweets.

Also, he stood out in the finals of 2015 Wimbledon as her biggest cheerleader. Williams claimed her sixth Wimbledon trophy that year. She outclassed the Spanish professional Garbiñe Muguruza in straight sets of 6-4 6-4 in the finals.
