Chris Evert has been one of the most decorated tennis players from her country. She was a champion athlete and alongside Martina Navratilova, the two formed one of the fiercest rivalries in the sport.

Fans mock Chris Evert on social media

Comedian Brad Williams took to Twitter to reveal comparisons between the Hollywood actor Chris Pine and Chris Evert. He said, “Chris Pine looks like a retired female tennis player who announces matches and doesn’t think Serena Williams plays the ‘right way.’ “

Many fans reacted to this hilarious tweet. One of the fans said, “She doesn’t like Serena’s attitude, thinks she’s ungrateful. Thinks her reliance on power is ‘cheap.’ “

Further, another fan said, “He looks like a retired F1 champion telling everyone that he beat another (multiple time) world champion in the same livery …”

Meanwhile, one of the Twitter users said, “Sure she can hit her serve, but can she place it where she wants and win a long rally? The greats in our game today, like Cornet and Kerber, no they aren’t as flashy, but they win it the right way and maybe Serena can take some pointers.”

When asked if Serena was the greatest player of all time, Evert said that she considered her the GOAT in the 23-time Grand Slam champion’s era.

“It’s such a tough question. In her era she is the greatest of all time. Then there’s the most accomplished career – how many tournaments you won and how consistent you were and I always include Steffi Graf and Martina Navratilova alongside Serena because in my era they were the greatest of all time,” said the 18-time Grand Slam champion.
