In a heartwarming revelation, Coach Pere Riba opened up about the unique cultural exchange that happens between him and the Australian Open finalist Qinwen Zheng. The duo, which recently announced their reunion, are not just exchanging tips on the court but also experiencing the unique culture of China.

Coach Riba shared, “Yes, of course. I’m learning every day from Qinwen. Yeah, you learn a lot from the players. I wish that she’s learning something from me also.” This mutual learning experience makes their relationship adorable, as Coach Riba finds himself experiencing the beauty of Chinese culture.

“I have many Chinese friends. I love the people. Yeah, every day that passes I’m more involved with the Chinese culture. You know, I’m trying to start to talk a bit. Sometimes Qinwen is teaching me some Chinese. It’s complicated to talk, but I’m trying (smiling). But yes, I’m feeling really good,” he confesses. As the tennis pro talked about his off-court lingual courses with Zheng, it is sure that he has been sharing a good bond with the young WTA star.
