

Things were not great when Chris Evert and Andy Mill divorced. For a minute, Evert thought of a happily-ever-after with Greg Norman. However, after 15 months of their marriage, things did not go that way and the star couple got divorced. But even then, she managed to build an amicable relationship with the father of her children, Andy Mill.

Things went quite well; better than Evert would have expected. Even now, the tennis legend shares a comfortable rapport with her ex-husband.

The 18-time Grand Slam champion was absolutely devastated after her divorce from Greg Norman. The legendary golfer and Evert got married in 2008. However, things did not go as planned and they both got divorced before the completion of two years of their marriage. After that, Evert lived with her three sons in Florida and Mill lived 15 minutes away from her to be close to them.

Apart from that, the summers are spent nicely with Mill and his wife in Colorado, where Evert stays in a rented house. In an interview in 2011, Evert described this setup. She said, “It’s a wonderful situation.” She also accepted that “the divorce is actually more functional than many marriages.”

And even now, the setting has worked in favor of Evert. Andy Mill lives 15 minutes away from her home and even when she was diagnosed with 1C Ovarian cancer, he was with her during her chemotherapy sessions.

Evert enjoys a comfortable friendship with her ex-husband Andy Mill. However, that does not mean that she does not regret divorcing him.
