It reminds the WTA of Gauff to such an extent that they lauded Andreeva with a confusing statistic. While they attempted to laud her, Gauff fans did not appreciate the gesture one bit.

Andreeva set such a record recently. Entering the fourth round, Andreeva became the second player aged under 17 to reach the round of 16 in the Women’s Singles at Wimbledon by winning the third round match in straight sets since 2000.

Another tennis fan said that they had prepared this statistic well.

One user called out the need to pit Andreeva at the top.

With this statistic, OptaAce has angered thousands of fans. However, the two players themselves are rather cordial with each other. 

While the tennis world is busy pitting the two against each other, they have nothing but warmth between them. After a bout at the French Open where Gauff emerged victorious, Andreeva had nothing but praise for her opponent. In a post-match interview, Andreeva said that she was confounded by the beauty of Gauff.
