But she was not alone in this regard. Along with her, Gauff’s parents, Corey, and Candi Gauff have reportedly made many sacrifices so that their daughter can compete with the stars.

To ensure that his daughter still thrives on the court, Corey Gauff reportedly accompanies her everywhere the tour takes her. For his continued and unwavering support, Coco is thankful to her father and often pushes him to go home to her brothers.

Coco Gauff on her father’s work life

Since she was a young girl, Coco showed immense talent in sports. Seeing her ability, her parents enrolled her in track, basketball, and tennis. She thrived in all sports but knew that she wanted to pursue tennis by the time she was 13. Both her parents were acclaimed athletes during their youth and understood that it could be a great career opportunity for Coco.

Realizing the prowess of their daughter, both Candi, and Corey resigned from their jobs to help their daughter become the best. But now, as Cori revealed in an exclusive, her father is quite happy having left the corporate job.

She told the Guardian, “Dad much prefers the lifestyle he has now than his job in corporate America. We didn’t see him much before – he’d come home for weekends, then fly out again.” While he enjoys the time he spends with his daughter now, Corey Gauff faces a challenge traveling the world with his daughter.

The toll the tours take on the Gauff family

Coco has played in international tournaments and her father reportedly accompanied her everywhere she had to travel. Although visiting different parts of the world could be a dream for some, the frequent travels took a toll on her father, and he stayed home for a long time. Coco was understanding of this move since she also knew her brothers, who play baseball and football, could benefit from their father’s advice quite a bit.
