The fun fact is that she has lived less than a mile away from them for almost ten years and still did not realize it. In an interview with The Palm Beach Post, she said, “A while ago, I had heard about this young junior player who was traveling with her mother by private plane to tournaments.”

However, she did not know that it was Pegula. Evert stated, “But I wasn’t sure who that was. I didn’t know there was that type of wealth across the street.”

Jessica Pegula’s parents are the owners of the American football team, Buffalo Bills, and the Ice Hockey Team, Buffalo Sabres. However, Pegula has made sure to make a name for herself rather than sitting comfortably on her $8 billion family wealth.

The American tennis star did not let her spirit dampen when she had multiple injuries. This proved to be a setback for her. However, Pegula was determined.

Despite her mother wondering about the fact as to why she would continue with the sport, Pegula trained hard. She earned her stripes by casting away the “Billionare’s daughter” image.
