‘Didn’t Have 3 Kids..’ – Chris Evert Rolls Back the Years After ‘Awful’ Look Revealed by American Tennis Hall of Famer

The American tennis legend Chris Evert has always been open about her views. Recently, her former rival and fellow legend of the sport, Billie Jean King, shared a throwback picture of Evert with other prominent stars in a tournament in 1995. Evert could not help but be shocked at how she looked back then.

 So what was the Ice Maiden’s response to a throwback picture tweeted by another former World No.1, in a #FlashbackFriday? 

When Chris Evert found the old hairstyle ‘Awful’

Billie Jean King recently shared a #FlashbackFriday snap, asking people to guess the year. She wrote, “Who has a guess what year this photo from the Virginia Slims Legends tour was taken?” The pic captures all the best yesteryears’ players in one frame, such as Martina Navratilova, Billie jean King, Pam Shriver, Tracy Austin and Evonne Goolagong, among others.

While quote-tweeting the picture shared by King, Evert was anything but pleased with her look, as her hairstyle back then captured her attention. She responded, “Im trying to remember the hair style (which was awful) it had to be definitely after 1990 when i was retired.. and before 1995? I didn’t have 3 kids in this picture…”

The Virginia Slims Legends Tour, which began in the 1970s consisting of 9 professional tennis players to promote women’s tennis, later became the foundation for the WTA Tour.

The 18-time Grand Slam champion has been very active on social media and never fails to share small joys with her fans and followers. And once she described her motherhood journey.

The crests and troughs of Evert’s life

After retirement in 1989, with a massive 18 Grand Slams in her pocket, one of the most celebrated tennis players entered motherhood in 1991 with the birth of her 1st son. Now a proud mom of 3 boys, once shared her struggles, how from being on ‘vacation’ for a decade, life went to hands full with kids and appearance among others, went for a toss.

Despite enjoying a storied professional career, Evert’s personal life took a turn for the worse when her second marriage with Andy Mill ended in divorce in 2006. Moreover, things didn’t work out well for the Ice Maiden during her 3rd marriage with ex-golfer Greg Norman, which ended in just 15 months. And since then, Evert has enjoyed her life as a single mom of 3 boys.
