Does Coco Gauff's Deadpool costume reveal a playful side that fans rarely see on the court?

Coco Gauff knows just how to keep her fans on their toes! Whether she’s dominating on the court with her powerhouse plays or making a style statement off it, the American sensation has a knack for standing out. And as Halloween rolled in, Gauff, who’s already known for her unique fashion sense, took her creativity up a notch, bringing her own twist to the spooky season.

The American sensation is currently gearing up for the WTA Finals to be held in Riyadh. She will be facing compatriot Jessica Pegula on Sunday, November 3, followed by Barbora Krejcikova and Iga Swiatek. But despite the grueling practice on the courts, Gauff refuses to be bogged down as she celebrates Halloween with immense zeal and enthusiasm. But guess what? The star player has given a unique Hollywood twist to her Halloween outfit this year.

Believe it or not, the 20-year-old decided to dress as Deadpool for this year’s Halloween. In a string of pictures she shared on her Instagram, she, along with her brother Cameron, decided to recreate Ryan Reynold and Hugh Jackman’s Deadpool & Wolverine, as they can be seen wearing red and yellow body-fitting costumes, respectively. The star player also tried to recreate some scenes from the 2024 Marvel Movie as she posed in similar positions with her brother and shared a reference in the subsequent images. However, Gauff was also a little upset since she could use only one costume this year.

In 2021, the American player dressed up as Velma, which she considers as one of her favorite efforts. Her passion for Halloween was witnessed in the subsequent years as well. While 2022 witnessed Coco Gauff touching upon her inner mystic self and dressing as Raven from ‘Teen Titans’, she tried her hands at being a movie villain in 2023 and took the internet by storm. But while Gauff is extremely enthusiastic about Halloween, there is only one member of her family who reciprocates this enthusiasm.

When Coco Gauff revealed how difficult it is for her to convince her family for Halloween

Coco Gauff has continued to mesmerize her fans with her remarkable attire on Halloween. But interestingly, her family does not seem to be as excited as her and only her youngest brother, Cameron, with whom she posted the latest pictures as well, is excited about it.

Speaking in a pretournament interview ahead of the WTA finals last year, Gauff opened up about her family’s response to Halloween. “With my family, honestly, only three members of my family, or two, one actually, Cameron is the only one who is really keen to doing it. The rest I just kind of force to do it.” She also claimed that her family members were not even ready for basic dress-up.

“We have some funny videos of us trying to get pictures together. My dad is fed up. Codey is fed up. They don’t care about Halloween that much, but they do it for me. You can see their costumes are the least effort amount. This year they just had to put on a mask,” Gauff added. And in the pictures she shared this year, there was no other member of her family accompanying her except Cameron. It will be interesting to see if the star player shares more pictures from her latest look and if it adds more family members as well.
