Since cementing her name in Tennis history after winning the US Open, Raducanu has been in the limelight and enjoying her fans’ attention. She was also rewarded by King Charles III at Windsor Castle for winning the title. She is now gearing up for the clay court at the Miami Masters.
However, as to her next Grand Slam, she was recently asked about her target in an Instagram Q/A session. She revealed that winning the prestigious grass-court tournament Wimbledon is her upcoming goal. Instead of expressing her goal in words, though, she smartly answered the question by presenting a visual of a grass-court, since the British tournament is the only Grand Slam played on the green turf.
Raducanu’s experience at the Miami Masters, however, will surely help her to achieve her goal. The Brit has recently recovered from an injury she sustained at another tournament a few months ago.

Raducanu’s left ankle injury forced her out in the second round of the match at ASB Classic in Auckland early this year. She had to announce her withdrawal from the Texas tournament following the unfortunate development. Known for her immense dedication to sports, she bounced back and entertained her fans with a career-best performance at Indian Wells.
Interestingly, Raducano was also reportedly about to lose her opening match in Miami. The former British tennis player Laura Robson strongly believed in her improvements and abilities to perform on the clay court. She told Eurosport in response to the reports, “She hits the ball just as well as any of the top players on tour. But it’s just finding the right balance on the training side of things, on the match court and tournament schedule side of things to make it work for the body because everyone is different, everyone requires a different amount of matches as well.”
