Aryna Sabalenka is rocking it at the Australian Open! Not only her amazing tennis skills, but her special outfit for the Australian Open has made the tournament even more special for her. Although she is a Nike athlete, she was recently spotted in her own unique Nike outfit, grabbing headlines from head to toe.

But now, after making her way into the quarterfinals of the tournament, she has opened up about her thoughts on the same. Along with that, she also hinted at being involved with Nike in designing her exclusive red dress.

Aryna Sabalenka comes up with a cheeky Nike demand

During the fourth round of the tournament against Amanda Anisimova, Aryna Sabalenka’s victory was definitely her highlight. Her outfit was not a regular Nike outfit but a specially customized one. In the post-match press conference, she opened up about her dress and how she was the only one wearing the red dress that she prepared with the sports brand.

Sabalenka said, “I’m the only player who’s wearing a red dress. It’s not like I was – how to say – included in part of the process, preparing the color and everything, no. They just show me the dress I will play with, and I was super excited to wear the only red dress.” 

Along with that, she also hinted at how she was involved in the process of creating unique outfits, starting from the preparation of the color to the execution. Subsequently, she also shared a wish to have something more with Nike in the future. “I really say thanks to Nike that they gave me this opportunity to feel special. But, of course, I want to have something more, like not just the different color.”

Although she is a Nike athlete and is often seen wearing different outfits from the clothing giant, this one was quite special as it was specially made for Sabalenka’s participation in the Grand Slam Tournament with her input. Sabalenkas can’t stop talking about Nike 

In the tennis series BreakPoint, in the first episode itself, there is a part when the former world number one and her boyfriend are getting ready for an NHL match. And during their time, when choosing outfits, she was continuously talking about Nike.

Aryna Sabalenka said, “So what do you think? They are made by me. I choose the colors, yes? You can actually if you want, you can design, pick the colors and I think I can be a really good designer at Nike.” After hearing the high praise, her NHL-obsessed boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, interrupted her seemingly endless endorsement!
