Despite AI Outrage, Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian Narrates Heartening Moment With Daughter Olympia as He Tries Hard to Put Raging Doubts to Rest

Speedy developments in artificial intelligence have created unrest among many. People in different fields of work are left wondering if their jobs will be in danger due to the advancements in generative AI. Not all industrialists, however, are focusing on replacing their workforce. Alexis Ohanian, the husband of Serena Williams, has used AI as a tool in a variety of ways, including using the technology for spending quality time with his daughter, Olympia.

In March, Ohanian, who is the co-founder of Reddit, said that he uses the chatbot to create memorable moments with his daughter. The tech entrepreneur also shared a picture with his daughter, which showed the two making bedtime stories with the help of ChatGPT.

Alexis Ohanian gave an interview with Casey Lewis, who handles content with the 776 Foundation. Lewis asked Ohanian about how he uses the ever-developing ChatGPT in his personal and professional life. The 40-year-old replied to the question by giving an example of how he makes stories with his daughter.

First, he talked about how he takes out time to gather new information on AI. “I’m trying to carve out a good 30 minutes to an hour a day where I’m just consuming content around AI.”

Then, Ohanian said that most of the things he learns from the tech are already applicable. He gave the example of how he and his daughter spend bedtime creating stories with chatbots.

“Some of it is already applicable. So I’m co-authoring bedtime stories with my daughter using ChatGPT; we’ve been doing that for a minute. I first dipped in probable six, nine months ago,” said Ohanian.

The business magnate also talked about the applications of the activity and how making fun exercises and creating whatever comes to mind is something that can boost creativity.

“Using these prompts with her just having fun exercises, painting unicorns with sparkles and rainbows and magic wands, and you know, whatever a five-year-old can come up with is an interesting start. But then starting to get good at generating prompts has been the next wave of it.”
