In a post-match interview, Collins opened up about her desire to play a singles match on Centre Court at the All-England Club. “It’s a goal of mine to be able to play on Centre Court in a singles match at some point,” the former World No.7 said. “I have yet to do that in my career. So I am just trying to ride this thing out until I can play on Centre Court.” Remember, while Collins played a doubles match with Desirae Krawczyk on Centre Court in the 2022 Wimbledon semi-final, she has yet to play a singles match there. This year too, she was ousted in the fourth round and could not play on the Centre court.
Now, as the star player is making a comeback in 2025 as well, it would be interesting to see if she can fulfill this desire of hers before finally moving out of the tennis arena. Will Danielle Collins play the entirety of the 2025 season? Well, only time will tell.
