Bianca Andreescu rose to fame in 2019 when she won the Indian Wells Masters, the Canadian Open and the US Open, as a teenager. She became the first teenager since Maria Sharapova in 2006 to win a Grand Slam title and is the only Canadian player so far to have won a single major tournament.
A veritable animal lover, Andreescu recently posted a video about missing her pet dog. She is a dog mom through and through and has a toy chocolate poodle, named Coco.

Bianca Andreescu says she misses Coco terribly
In celebration of the National Puppy Day, US Open’s official Instagram profile shared a video where Bianca is playing during her 2019 dream run at the US Open while Coco witnesses the history from the stands. The 21-year-old Canadian reshared this post and mentioned how much she misses Coco.

The adorable pup is seen on the lap of a woman, possibly Andreescu’s mother, who takes care of Coco, whenever Andreescu is travelling or is on the Tour. “She’s mine, but since I travel so much, I can’t take care of her personally, so my mom takes care of her. So I guess it’s like our dog. But I bought her,” she once said.
She also mentioned how Coco helps calm her down and helps ground her. “It’s crazy — she’s honestly more famous than me. She’s adorable. She brings me so much joy and unconditional love. And she calms me down after my matches. Whenever I see her, I don’t think about anything else, just me in that moment with her,” Bianca added.

Bianca Andreescu has not been all that active on the tour this last year, but she shared with her fans why she needed some time to regroup and recover, before returning to the circuit.
