The “Cocomania” isn’t stopping anytime soon
Coco is just at the start of her career and has already reached a Grand Slam final. She ended this season as the world’s no. 7. She has a career-high ranking of no.1 in doubles with partner Jessica Pegula. Howeverm, Coco ended the 2022 season in the worst possible manner, with a series of losses. Her loss to Iga Świątek at the WTA Finals has left fans doubtful of her growth in 2023.
What is remarkable is that Coco has played both singles and doubles this season and made the most out of it. She reached her career-high rankings in both singles and doubles and was placed in the world’s top 5, although she finished the year in the top 10.
