Coco Gauff met her favorite gaming stars while attending TwitchCon 2022. Gauff could not resist the urge to attend the three-day conference with fans at the San Diego Convention Center for the meet where the biggest streamers and influencers of Twitch gathered.

This event brings together the internet’s largest content creators and influencers under one roof. Conferences like TwitchCon are an excellent opportunity for streamers and e-celebrities to interact with their fans. Coco Gauff believes that a more relaxed approach, including her interest in Twitch and gaming, has improved the quality of her tennis this year.

The rising star has always kept a balance between her interests and tennis career. At TwitchCon, Gauff met her favorite streamers, like Valkyrae.

In an exclusive interview, Gauff shared her interest in the world of streaming. She said, “A year ago or even a couple of months ago, there’s no way I would have gone to TwitchCon before a tournament because I thought I had to solely focus my life on tennis.”

The former world No. 1 gives equal importance to her mental and physical health. She further added, “I realised that I have other interests and it’s OK to embrace them.” Gauff mentions doing the same during her tournament in Paris. She spent time relaxing and focusing on her other interests and eventually, it led to her impressive run in the French Open. She further added, “I realised it was the complete opposite of what I needed to do.” 

Coco Gauff was quoted, “I’m more stress-free. It was a big transition for me because I felt like I was surrounding my life with tennis.”

Gauff will participate in the Billie Jean King Cup

Coco Gauff, along with the likes of Jessica Pegula, has been selected to be a part of the US team that will compete in this year’s Billie Jean King Cup. Fans will be surely looking forward to watching Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula playing in a team with other established stars like Madison Keys, Danielle Collins and Taylor Townsend.

The 2022 Billie Jean King Cup will be the 59th edition of the tournament that’ll see teams competing for the prestigious title. The United States has won the tournament, a record eighteen times.
