The young American sensation has turned the heads of several fans around the world throughout the last four years. The player who dons New Balance shoes played in a grand slam final last year and has stayed in the top 10 consistently. While her performance in singles this year was not up to the mark, she came back to her 2022 form in Washington, DC.

At the Citi Open, Gauff won her first WTA 500 title and her fourth title overall. With this win, she has joined a legend who won at least four titles as a teenager. It is none other than the comeback star Caroline Wozniacki who achieved the same 2009.

Gauff’s record was made public by the official Instagram account of the US Open, who also added the caption, “Youngins getting it done 🙌“.
