But even during her well-earned break, tennis isn’t too far from her. In a hilarious twist, Coco recently shared a moment that has fans surprised.

The American tennis sensation visited California to attend the latest concert of Tyler, the Creator at his annual music festival, Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in California. She was also accompanied by her boyfriend Sera and a couple of other friends, as can be seen in the pictures shared by her. But what unfolded in the backdrop of the event was rather unexpected for her followers. 

Taking to her Instagram story, Gauff shared a video of herself playing tennis alongside American singer and songwriter Faye Webster, who also is a big fan of the sport. Captioning the story, Gauff wrote, “ntm on my jorts 🤣 it was all I had lolll wasn’t planning on hitting 😭💀,” highlighting how unexpected her appearance was. This can also be evidenced by the latest makeover which Gauff has demonstrated recently. 

Known for her braids, Coco Gauff made a remarkable change in her hairstyle and sported a fresh, chic, hair-down look, which turned the heads of many in the tennis community. This also highlights that the star player is determined to enjoy her off-season and does not wish to pick up racquets at least for some time. However, the latest stint with the singer came as unexpected. But for Webster, this can also be considered an elating moment, who has expressed her high regard for the American player. 

In an interview with The Cut in July this year, Webster highlighted her passion for tennis. Speaking about how frequently she picks up racquets, she said, “When I’m touring, it’s almost every day, and then when I’m home, a couple times a week.” She also expressed her admiration for Gauff while mentioning, “I really like Naomi Osaka because she’s vulnerable. And I like following Coco Gauff.” 

Coming back to Gauff, despite the unexpected surprise, the star player is not failing to enjoy her off-court time as can be evidenced by her latest outing to California.

In a string of pictures shared by her earlier on Instagram, she flaunted her ‘chic makeover’ and new hair before she attended Tyler’s event with her boyfriend, Jalen Sera. She shared more pictures in which she can be seen along with Sera and a couple of other friends. Responding to Gauff’s post, Sera wrote, “Hall of fame campers,” expressing his praise for the carnival. The 20-year-old WTA Star was quick to respond to Sera, affirming his praise and wrote, “GOAT campers.”
