Gauff’s 17-year-old brother received a DREAM series invitation, which MLB and USA Baseball hosted. After that exciting milestone, Codey Gauff has now invested his heart and soul to improve his game.

In an interview with USA Baseball on June 22, Corey Gauff expressed great pride in his children. “Codey played football for a little bit and some basketball, kind of arriving at baseball a little bit later in life than Coco did with tennis, but they both worked hard growing up. They both have unique skill sets in their respective sports. It’s been great to watch them grow,” he said. His statement proved him to be a keenly involved father, whose sacrifices and hard work paid off through the rise of his children.

Like Corey Gauff, his daughter Coco too is also proud of her brother. Last October, Codey had shared a photo wearing a white outfit with “21″ and a “tiger” logo attached to it. With the picture, he updated that he had committed to the Mizzou University baseball team. Codey’s achievement delighted his big sister, who enthusiastically commented: “So proud of you codey! Beyond happy for you!”.
