Look at Coco Gauff, whose recent revelation about her favorite childhood memory showcased her father Corey Gauff’s dedication to her career. Although the reigning US Open champion already awarded her father the title of “best dad”, she isn’t stopping to show how much he means to her. In a recent social media post, Gauff left her fans in awe with a heartfelt post that perfectly captures her as a father’s princess.

Gauff shared eleven photos on her Instagram profile. From her moments at home to her outing with her friends and brothers and participation in the Paris Olympics, Gauff displayed “bits n pieces of life recently💫💖.” While her photos were too adorable to miss, the first one caught people’s eyes for an interesting reason.

In the first image, the reigning US Open champion posed for the camera in her house with a calm smile. Gauff wrote further in her post’s comment thread, “ik the first picture is kinda blurry but my dad took it because he thought i looked pretty & wanted to capture it & I luv it just for that reason so i’m sharing it w ya’ll. k bye🤟🏾.”  Following her comment, it wasn’t hard for people to understand why the first image was so special to Gauff despite being a little hazy.

This American WTA star is a daddy’s girl. In June, she publically mentioned her father as “the best dad ever.” Not to forget, Gauff’s victory message after her debut Grand Slam win mentioned her parents’ incredible support in her career. After lifting the US Open trophy, Gauff dropped a special message to her father on Father’s Day. “Happy Father’s Day to the best dad ever. I love you so much!” she wrote on her Instagram story.

While speaking about her favorite one, Gauff said, “My favorite was like when it rained, my dad was like set the couches up in a row as like a net and we were just like hit back and forth and play in the base pit.“

Gauff’s smile showed the memory was special. Her father has been supportive of her sporting career from day 1, having a background in basketball himself. He shed tears when Gauff won her first slam at the US Open. Gauff’s revelations about her father scream that she is a daddy’s girl.
