When Coco Gauff launched her signature sneaker, the Coco Delray, just ahead of her birthday, she didn’t just make history, she also made a statement. With a personalized signature shoe, Coco celebrated the moment as a chance to expand the sport’s reach and spark cultural impact. But that was just the beginning. Known for her fearless flair, from the Marvel-inspired bodysuit in Melbourne daylight to slaying double Miu Miu looks at the Oscars, Coco is redefining tennis fashion. Her latest power move? A dazzling Miu Miu x New Balance collab! Even Tommy Paul’s girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, couldn’t help but gush over the design on social media! But what did she say, though?
The latest chapter in the powerhouse ‘Miu Miu x New Balance’ collaboration has Coco Gauff taking center stage. The Miu Miu x Coco Gauff x New Balance CG2 leads the charge, a bold, stylish fusion of performance and high fashion. Gauff’s signature sneaker drops in two distinct colorways: one flaunts iconic NB grey and silver with gold accents and Miu Miu branding on the tongue; the other opts for softer grey tones with a green sockliner. Both feature custom Miu Miu insoles, blending sporty edge with luxury detail. But the collection doesn’t stop at footwear, Gauff-inspired tennis sets pop in vibrant color-blocked styles, from purple and white to red, blue, and white, while track sets carry the same eye-catching hues for pre- and post-match flair.
Rounding out the lineup is the return of the coveted ‘Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL’, reimagined in three standout editions. A suede version stays true to classic grey with a gum sole and laces in earthy tones. A flashier leather-and-mesh model gleams in silver and gold, keeping things luxe with a high-shine finish. Finally, a sleek black rendition brings bold contrast with brown detailing. And the moment the collaboration dropped, fashion influencer and Tommy Paul’s girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, couldn’t help but gush!

As soon as Miu Miu’s official IG dropped the stunning visuals of Coco Gauff in her new collection, the fashion world lit up. Lorenze was quick to show her love. On Gauff’s green and white look, she simply commented, “COCO (red heart emoji),” and followed it up with, “YEP (3x clap emoji) (2x heart emoji),” for the bold black-and-white ensemble. It wasn’t just Paige, though; Australian tennis legend Rennae Stubbs joined in too, quipping, “Should I send my sizes in right now?”

The highly anticipated ‘Miu Miu x New Balance’ with Coco Gauff collection will be released globally on September 10 via Miu Miu’s website and select stores. That same day, Gauff will headline an exclusive event at Miu Miu’s flagship store on New York’s 57th Street. Coco Gauff “feeling pretty confident” ahead of her clay court Masters at Madrid
At just 21, the 4th seed has already crafted an exceptional career; she’s a GS champion, a WTA Finals winner, and a former world No. 2. But 2025 has tested her resolve. After a red-hot 9-0 start, leading Team USA to the United Cup and making the AO quarter-finals, her momentum has slowed. Coming into the Mutua Madrid Open, she holds a 14-6 season record, just 5 wins over the last three months.
Now, at the Caja Mágica, Gauff is eager to reignite her spark and chase clay-court success. Last week in Stuttgart, Gauff reached the QF before falling to Jasmine Paolini in straight sets. Despite the loss, she walked away with renewed clarity.
“I felt like in Stuttgart, even though it was a tough match, I felt it was a big improvement since Miami. I wanted to play Stuttgart just to get some matches, so I’m feeling pretty confident going into here. This tournament, I haven’t done super well here, but I feel like it’s always a learning experience and it sets me up to do well in Rome and it sets me up to do well in Paris, so I’m just banking on that,” Gauff mentioned.
