Coco Gauff is up and running at the Italian Open. After a not-so-good campaign in Madrid, she came ahead and showed everyone what she is known for. Having started her campaign against the Polish star Magdalena Fręch, she came out on top and won the game in straight sets. The final scoreline of the match ended 6-3, 6-3 in favor of the rising American star. 

While she presented her game of the best quality, her fans could not stop themselves from praising her gameplay. One fan came ahead and suggested that her game resembles the American tennis legend Serena Williams. “Coco Gauff is the closest Serena Williams regen as it comes,” said the fan who could do nothing but applaud Gauff’s exceptional gameplay.

Coco Gauff says she ‘can’t be too upset’ following her results

In an interview a couple of days back, Coco Gauff suggested that she would definitely want to win the Masters 100o title. However, she further added that despite not having performed well in the Indian Masters and the Miami Open, this is something that she is not very concerned about. This is mainly because she thinks the way she has started this year is a lot better compared to what she did last year.

“I mean, obviously I would want to win, you know, a 1000 by now or something, just because I really wanted to do well in Miami & Indian Wells. I started better than last year which is a goal for every year. So I can’t be too upset,” said Gauff in the interview.
