Easter Sundays hold immense significance for Christians across the world as it commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For those who are unaware, American tennis star Coco Gauff is a devout Christian. She has often spoken about how her Christian faith laid the foundation for her success.
She wishes her fans the best on the occasion of Easter every year. And this year was no exception. She recently shared a post on her Instagram stories wishing her family, friends, and fans on Easter Day.
Coco Gauff is quite open about her Christian faith

The 20YO tennis star often attends the Saint John Missionary Baptist Church in Florida. Coco Gauff is a member of the choir there and has often stated that her faith is an important part of life. Coco Gauff recently shared a post from ‘Church Dude with Sign’s’ Instagram account on her own stories. The picture had a guy standing with a placard in his hand that said, “SPOILER ALERT: HE’S NOT DEAD.” It’s needless to say what Coco Gauff was relating to with the post here. However, this isn’t the first time she has wished her fans at Easter.
Even last year, she did the same. We’ll find out later on but is Coco Gauff a religious person? During an interview with the New York Times, Gauff once mentioned that “Before every match since I was 8, my dad and I say a prayer together.” Gauff went on to add that the prayer isn’t for victory, but rather an expression of thanks to God and of dependence on him.
She has once revealed how her faith helped her deal with the pressures of being a young tennis star. “I try to stay positive and not let the negative things affect me too much. My faith helps me stay focused on my goals and what I want to achieve,” she said while giving an interview with Stylist.

Last year German tennis legend, Boris Becker was seen wishing his fans on Easter. Angelique Kerber posted a picture of herself with a small Easter bunny placed on her daughter’s stroller and wrote, “Happy Easter. Keep your loved ones close to you, recharge your batteries and enjoy this little holiday break.”
Coco Gauff also took to social media last year to wish her fans a “Happy Resurrection Day.” Even the Russian tennis star, Karen Khachanov, was seen wishing his fans with a post on Instagram. He wrote, “Happy Easter to all my fellow Americans.” As the day goes by, we’ll be coming up with a lot more such posts for this year’s Easter as well.
