Coco Gauff Embraces Asian Culture as She Walks In BFF Jessica Pegula’s Footsteps With Her Unparalleled Love for the Local Food

After winning the US Open, the 19-year-old tennis star Coco Gauff is all set to make her name at the China Open in Beijing. She has already cleared the first round of the tournament after defeating Ekaterina Alexandrova in a two-set match. Right after winning her first round, her bustling character came to the fore during the on-court interview, to the delight of the audience.

During the interview, she answered a lot of questions, including a food revelation of hers. Even though we are sure she follows a strict routine around her diet, there is one thing we think no one can resist when in China.

After emerging victorious in her first round at the China Open 2023 in Beijing, during the on-court interview, Coco Gauff opened up about how she is spending her time there and the food she loves to eat.

She said, “The fans here are really passionate. I am happy to be here. I really like the food. I like noodles a lot. I’ve been eating it for breakfast, lunch, & dinner.”

After her response, the interviewer translated her response for the audience in Chinese. He also suggested a combination of noodles and sauce that she should try, which she may love there in China.

She has her second round match tomorrow at the tournament against Petra Martic. Gauff fans will be surely excited to see how this would turn out.

Asian food is loved by people all around the world, and now we know Coco loves it too. But she is not the only one who is a fan of Asian cuisine. Jessica Pegula also revealed, a few days ago, how she loves to hog on Japanese food.

After beating Bucsa in the Tokyo Open 2023, Jessica Pegula revealed that she loves Japanese food. One of the things she loves to eat there is Shabu Shabu. During the same conversation, she was also asked which sauce she enjoyed in the dish; if it was sesame or ponzu.

And to answer the question, she said she loves sesame more than ponzu. With tournaments happening in different locations, tennis players get to enjoy different kinds of cuisines, which we think is one of the best parts of the job.
