US Open winner Coco Gauff finds solace in music besides being around family and friends. After expressing her intense liking for the art form, the WTA star now sheds light on her favorite music platform – highlighting the platform’s user-friendliness. While explaining her reasons, Gauff humorously takes a jab at users of other music platforms, showing that when it comes to music, she’s just as serious as she is about tennis. So, what did she say?

Gauff had an interesting message for those who dislike Apple Music. This former US Open winner, whose partner is rapper Cordae, has an intense interest in music. From Beyoncé to Tyler, the Creator, Gauff’s playlist boasts incredible and diverse artists. During her off-season, she attended the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles and expressed how music has been a prominent part of her enjoyment. In fact, she also included music in her fitness training, showcasing how integral it is for Gauff to remain connected with this art form. The WTA star shared her Apple Music wrap for the year and took a dig at users who don’t.

Why is everyone an Apple Music hater?? We get to see our top albums, top genres, have spatial audio, and get a monthly replay report on top of the yearly one. I like Spotify, but the fan base can’t stand to see an Apple Music screenshot. You would think I killed their dog, chile,” tweeted the former US Open champion on X. Her words highlighted the easy user functionality of Apple Music. The last sentence of her statement metaphorically explained the criticisms one would face from Spotify users.

Sharing a screenshot of her Apple Music stats, Gauff wrote, “Lol ya’ll probably don’t care but gonna share anyway.” In another highlight on her IG story, Gauff revealed that Mk.gee dominated her list of most-played songs and albums. However, Tyler, the Creator, and Frank Ocean’s albums were the ones that ranked high, with Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album taking the 10th spot.

Coco Gauff revealed that she likes “to listen to music”

While music is a part of many athletes’ fitness exercises, for Gauff it is much more than that. In a recent revelation on a USTA video, the WTA star said, “Not necessarily an exercise. I just like to listen to music, while doing whatever I’m doing. Yeah, I mean, the bike is calming. It gets repetitive for me, so I do switch it up, between the treadmill and the bike but, as long as I have music, I think it’s the most relaxing.” Gauff’s words echoed her love for music as a separate hobby. Not to forget how intensely she confessed her love for Beyonce. “So, me and my friends have a Beyoncé group chat. We’re huge fans. Beyoncé if you see this, I love you and maybe I can teach Rumi, Blue some tennis. I would do it and I’ll literally pay and do it,” she said. Gauff’s statement highlighted her absolute fondness for the iconic pop star like any other normal person.

She once said during an interview at the Indian Wells, “Some people don’t know this, before I go on court I like to play loud music because I actually don’t like to hear you guys when I walk on bc it makes me nervous. So I put on music.”
