When Iga Swiatek dominates in a tournament, she starts to give out Bagels and Breadsticks to her opponents which is known as her ‘Bakery’. She has continued to operate her bakery in the Indian Wells Masters as well. Well, just to clear up, beating the opponent 6-0 is referred to as Bagels, and Breadsticks happen when the opponent loses in a set 6-1. Apart from Swiatek, recently, Coco Gauff has also opened up a tiny bake shop in the BNP Paribas Open.

Both Gauff and Swiatek are in a fantastic run in the first half of the Sunshine Doubles. Both have a giant challenge in front of them and are ready to have a bake sale with them as well.

Swiatek managed to win her first three matches quickly without losing many games. She set up a quick bakery in every match as she managed to achieve one bagel in the first two matches and one breadstick in the third match. Like her, Gauff has finally gone a step ahead and managed to find a bakery of her own. The American youngster managed to achieve a bagel in her recent clash against Elise Mertens.

I can have a mini one.” Gauff won her first two rounds with some difficulty as she set in the first round and went to tie-breaker in the final set of both rounds. Now, Swiatek will play Caroline Wozniacki in the quarterfinal, hoping to set up another shop.
