On the other hand, her mother, Candi, who couldn’t hide her excitement posted heart emojis while celebrating her son’s success. Interestingly, Codey, who is 3 years younger than her sister opted to go out for a different career while her sister was sending shockwaves in tennis. Codey is no longer just “Coco’s little brother.” He’s carving his own path in sports, and with the Gauff family backing him, the sky’s the limit.

Since he was a kid, baseball has been more than just a game for him, it’s been a passion. He played for his school’s Elite Squad Academy and, though he hasn’t committed to a college team yet, that hasn’t slowed him down. Now playing in Delray Beach, Florida, as a 2026 grad, his switch-hitting skills and lightning speed behind the plate stand out. American Eagle once did a special gesture for Coco Gauff after she won her first US Open title

Coco Gauff created history last year at the US Open as she became the first American teenager since Serena Williams to claim the prestigious title. In her victory speech, she addressed all those who doubted her and had a stern response for them. With a massive jibe at her haters, she suggested that many doubted her but she continued to flourish and won a WTA 500 title followed by a WTA 1000 title.

“Honestly, thank you to the people who didn’t believe in me. Like a month ago, I won a 500 title and people said I would stop at that. Two weeks ago, I won a 1000 title and people were saying that was the biggest I was going to get. So three weeks later, I’m here with this trophy right now,” she said.

Inspired by this iconic speech, American Eagle and Coco Gauff decided to create a limited-edition fashion line that had her iconic quote at the back. “Thank you to the people who didn’t believe in me,” is what was written on the back of the jacket.
