Coco Gauff has been turning heads on and off the tennis court since she was 16, thanks to her partnership with American Eagle. “I feel it represents me,” she says about the collaboration that has become an extension of her identity. But now, the Gauff legacy isn’t just about Coco’s dominance in tennis—it’s about the entire family stepping into the spotlight, especially her younger brother, Codey.
At just 17, Codey Gauff is already shaking up the sports world in his own right. Recently, he posted a photo on Instagram that sent ripples through social media—a proud moment wearing the iconic Miami Dolphins jersey. But this wasn’t just any Dolphins gear; it was an exclusive collaboration with American Eagle, the very same brand that has been linked with Coco’s meteoric rise. The significance wasn’t lost on Coco and their mother, who immediately jumped on Instagram to share their pride with the world.
Coco Gauff, while reposting it to her story wrote, “lil boy representing @americaneagle”. On the other hand, her mother, Candi, who couldn’t hide her excitement posted heart emojis while celebrating her son’s success. Interestingly, Codey, who is 3 years younger than her sister opted to go out for a different career while her sister was sending shockwaves in tennis. Codey is no longer just “Coco’s little brother.” He’s carving his own path in sports, and with the Gauff family backing him, the sky’s the limit.

“Honestly, thank you to the people who didn’t believe in me. Like a month ago, I won a 500 title and people said I would stop at that. Two weeks ago, I won a 1000 title and people were saying that was the biggest I was going to get. So three weeks later, I’m here with this trophy right now,” she said.
Inspired by this iconic speech, American Eagle and Coco Gauff decided to create a limited-edition fashion line that had her iconic quote at the back. “Thank you to the people who didn’t believe in me,” is what was written on the back of the jacket. With her brother now also joining her venture, it will be exciting to see how things go up for the two. What are your thoughts on this? Please let us know in the comments below!
