Two-time major champion Simona Halep, who has been struggling to bounce back to top form owing to multiple injuries, gave a great news to her fans as she got married to long-time boyfriend, Toni Iuruc.
The couple got married in Romania today amongst friends and family. Both Halep and Iuruc have been dating since 2018 and it was only recently that Halep gave some information about her wedding to the media.

Toni Iuruc is a well-known businessman in Romania and has a lot of businesses to his name. Born in Macedonian in 1979, Iuruc was grown up in an entrepreneurial family. Along with other businesses, Toni Iuruc is also into real-estate along with his mother, Genica Iuruc.
Coach Cahill sends out congratulations to Simona Halep on her wedding
Confirming the couple’s marriage, Halep’s coach Darren Cahill wrote a congratulatory message on twitter.
“The official signing today of marriage for Simo and Toni in Romania. Congratulations and big hugs to you both. An amazing couple. Have a great celebration with family and friends tonight!”, tweeted the coach.

After the fourth round loss to Elina Svitolina at the US Open last week, Halep might make her comeback at the Indian Wells Masters next month. Ever since injuring her left calf during the second-round match against Angelique Kerber in the Italian Open, the two-time major champion couldn’t find her best.
Even though she made her comeback at the Canadian Open, she was outpowered by the energetic Danielle Collins in the opening round. Even in Cincinnati, Halep was forced to withdraw from her duel against Jessica Pegula owing to right thigh injury.
