While the evening was supposed to be all Sabalenka, Chris Evert was heard backing the American over baseless facts.

The match turned out to be an easy win for the Belarusian as she managed to take her rival down in straight sets. Despite being evidently overpowered in front of a massive crowd spectating live, the former WTA pro was seen biasedly siding with her compatriot. Although it was a big achievement for the nation to see her earn a slot in the finals, the fact that she was downtrodden against The Tiger’s dominance was swiftly accepted by the fans.

Fans lash out at Chris Evert over biased and incomplete insight delivery
