The 21-year-old bookworm appeared on the WTA Insider podcast after winning another WTA championship. In that podcast interview, the tennis star discussed her recent success as well as her preparations for the forthcoming competitions.
However, while discussing her preparations, the show’s host asked questions about the tennis player’s biography reading spree. To which the three-time Grand Slam champion responded with a candid confession about a Polish translation error regarding the tennis legend, Chris Evert, in ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S.’ star Matthew Perry’s biography.
She highlighted that the translator, who translated the original version to Polish, made a gender error regarding the 18-time Grand Slam champion, Chris Evert. It made her laugh out loud. In between that, for a second, she confused Leonardo DiCaprio with Leonardo da Vinci.
She said, “I just finished Matthew Perry’s biography yesterday, he was weird. In Polish, actually translation their was Chris Evert’s academy. I don’t know, the guy who translated it thought Chris Evert is a guy. So, I was laughing, but whatever. Right now I want to try biographies, so I will read about Leonardo DiCaprio, Oh my god, and Leonardo da Vinci next.”
