The tennis community was surprised when a popular sports-oriented digital platform made a huge blunder while showing the photos of the former Australian Open champions. The Tennis Channel depicted photos of all the WTA players who have won the Australian Open title in the past decade. While they made a massive error when it came to the former Chinese tennis player, Li Na. 

A slew of fans also took note of the error made by the renowned tennis-oriented digital platform. They further mocked the renowned sports-oriented platform for insulting the Chinese tennis legend.

After becoming a runner-up at the 2013 Australian Open, the former Chinese tennis player, Li Na won the title in the next season’s Grand Slam event in Melbourne. Notably, she comes under the category of the Australian Open champions of the past decade.

However, the tennis channel made a huge blunder of it as they put a photo of the American tennis player, Ann Li instead of Li Na. A slew of tennis fans on social media also took note of the post. One of the fans also shared the post on Twitter while pointing out the mistake made by the renowned channel.

Others took note of the same and they further slammed the tennis channel for insulting Li Na. Notably one of the fans commented, “Omg how embarrasing. Its Ann Li”

Another fan said, “When they hire baseball fans and they google images of chinese women and get confused.”

The American tennis player was only 13 years old when Li Na cliched the Grand Slam title in Melbourne. Notably, one of the fans commented, “LOLLLL Ann Li wishes she could win a Grand Slam at 13 years old 😂 (or at all 😅)”

Meanwhile, one of the fans saw that Ann Li’s photo used by the channel was from her social media account. The fan said, “It’s literally a picture from Ann Li’s Insta😑”
