Challengers Movie: Venus Williams Smashes Red-Carpet With Ravishing Look While Serena Williams Disappoints Fans

Challengers is a movie that has been highly anticipated by tennis fans in the last year. The movie has finally premiered and the red carpet is alight with several stars. Venus Williams was one of the many who captured the attention of the cameras. However, surprisingly, her younger sister, Serena Williams, was nowhere in sight.

Challengers feature Zendaya, who dons the role of a former player-turned-coach to take her husband from a mediocre player to a grand slam champion. As her husband encounters a slump, she makes him play a challenger event, which creates drama as he is standing opposite his former best friend and his wife’s former boyfriend.

The movie is set to launch on 26th April and premiered in Los Angeles recently. The press tour of the event saw Zendaya flaunt several breath-taking looks. Venus decided that she would not be left behind and showed her dashing look in a grey dress, accompanied with a slick back hairstyle. She accessorized with a collar necklace and earrings.

While Venus caught the attention of the cameras, her younger sister, Serena decided to give the event a miss. Her absence might raise questions for some as she is the last person to miss an event where one can flaunt their fashion choices. Her fans would have been eager to see her creativity, but this time the spotlight was on Venus.

However, she couldn’t hold it for too long as the star of the movie herself came forward to grasp all the attention from fans of the movie and the sport alike.

Zendaya catches the flashes on the Challengers red carpet along with Venus Williams 

With the Euphoria actress being the star of the movie, there was no doubt she would capture the attention of the press once she arrived. However, she made a much bigger impact than her costars realized. Zendaya stepped on the red carpet in a pink and black Vera Wang gown with a lace bodice and voluminous tulle and satin skirt. She completed the look with minimal accessories, including modest diamond earrings.

Zendaya’s bold fashion choices on the Challengers press tour have made quite a stir in the past. In Australia, she wore a green, floor-length Loewe gown adorned with a black drawing of a tennis player. Two weeks later, she wowed in another tennis-themed Loewe ensemble, this time including a short silver sleeveless dress.

Zendaya has given a good contest to Venus Williams on the Los Angeles red carpet. Serena Williams could have also been a part of the dazzling affair, but this time, she is busy elsewhere.
