The former Czech–American tennis player, Martina Navratilova, has never shied from using her platform to express her love and admiration for her wife, Julia Lemigova. And it is also the same case with the former Russian model, as she is quite active in sharing adorable social media posts for the American tennis legend.

So during this year’s Valentine’s day, Lemigova had to come up with the sweetest wish for the 18-time singles Grand Slam champion. And when she did, her gesture won the hearts of many fans on social media.

The 1990 Miss USSR and the 59-time Major winner have often openly expressed their love and affection for each other on social media platforms. This Valentine’s day was no different. To mark the romantic and blissful occasion, Julia Lemigova had planned something special for her tennis legend wife. In doing so, the couple also conveyed their feelings towards animals, particularly puppies.

The Russian former model took to her Instagram account to share an old picture with the American tennis legend. In that picture, the couple was spotted together while they posed with several adorable puppies. Lemigova was in awe of that photo as she said, “Celebrating puppy love with my love — happy Valentine’s Day!”

While sharing that picture, she also greeted her wife in the sweetest manner on Valentine’s day. Lemigova asked her friends and fans whether they were doing anything to celebrate the romantic day. She stated in her caption, “One of my favorite pics from a few years ago, when Zorro and Nina surprised us with these beautiful babies 🥰 are you doing anything to celebrate today?”

Navratilova and Lemigova’s love for animals

The American tennis legend’s wife previously gave a sneak peek into farming adventures. In doing so, they also expressed their affection towards their ‘furry friends,’ which includes their farm sheep and her three tiny little lambs.

The couple has named their sheep “Lucy,” while they were skeptical about naming some of the other lambs. Consequently, Lemigova used that video clip to ask her friends and fans on social media, and suggest some good names for the latest additions to their farm family.
