While the 33-year-old tennis star makes her comeback, her husband remains a staunch supporter, frequently spotted cheering her on from the stands.

Interestingly, in the middle of Wozniacki’s thrilling run to the Indian Wells tournament quarterfinals, a humorous scene occurred when she poked fun at her tall husband’s tennis prowess. Although he gave a no-reaction look to the question, it was still hilarious to watch.

The 33-year-old Danish tennis player is trying her best to achieve victories on her comeback route to tennis. Recently, while she was playing in the fourth round of the tournament, her husband was present in the team box to support her. After the victory, in an on-court interview, she was asked about a random sporting question. The interviewer asked who between her and her husband would be better at playing each other’s sport.

The answer to this question from Wozniacki’s side revealed the humorous side of the couple. While she clearly stated her position in basketball,  when it comes to the 1x NBA champion, he needs to rely on serve to win a tennis match as he stands no chance without a serve advantage.

She said, “I am terrible at basketball, so, and he is 6’9, so maybe he could get one serve in, but if he is not playing with serves, I think neither of us have any chance in each other’s sports.” On the other hand, her husband, who was present during the interview, had an anticipated look on his face which eventually broke out into a chuckle on his wife’s reply.

The humorous answer from the tennis professional’s side highlighted the healthy relationship shared between the two stars. Even though she did pull her husband’s leg with her tongue in the cheek comment, it is evident how much they support and care for each other. In fact, Wozniacki reflected on how she has one of the most supportive husbands.

Moreover, the Grand Slam Champion’s brilliant tennis heroics are something that she could not have done without the support of her husband and her family. A few months ago, in an interview, she opened up about the support she has received from her husband.

She said, “It’s certainly not easy to find the right balance—and I’m so lucky to have a supportive husband, supportive parents, and the help of a nanny—but I think it’s possible. I want to prove that to myself and those women.” Along with that, she acknowledged the impact that he has had on her tennis comeback while sharing her thoughts on how lucky she is to have a supportive husband and family.
