Former world No. 1 tennis star Caroline Wozniacki was present at the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix Formula 1 race this weekend. The Danish athlete, who retired from professional tennis in 2021, has developed a keen interest in motorsports in recent years.
Wozniacki, 33, has attended several F1 races as a spectator and expressed her enjoyment of the high-speed spectacle on social media. At the glamorous Las Vegas event, she had a chance to meet one of Denmark’s representatives on the grid, Haas driver Kevin Magnussen.

Haas driver Kevin Magnussen shared a photo from the Haas F1 team’s Instagram captioning, “Game recognises game 🎾 Dane recognises Dane! 🇩🇰 Kev met former WTA world No.1 and Grand Slam winner tennis star @carowozniacki this evening in Vegas!”

He further took to his Instagram stories thanking the former Grand Slam, saying. “Thanks for visiting Car0”. While watching the practice sessions from the paddock area on Saturday, Caroline Wozniacki spotted Magnussen making his way to the garage. As a compatriot of the 31-year-old racer, she approached to say hello.
Wozniacki further reposted the story being delightful about the invitation saying, “Always great catching up”. The photo, which Wozniacki later shared on her Instagram story, showed the pair smiling with the Las Vegas skyline in the background. It was a fun encounter for the tennis star, who remains a big supporter of Danish athletes across different sports.
