Caroline Wozniacki picks Serena Williams as Iga Swiatek’s contender
Former world no. 1, Caroline Wozniacki feels that only two players who are active in the tennis circuit can defeat the Polish sensation.

The first one is, 23-time grand slam winner Serena Williams and that too when she is at her peak performing stage on the court.
The second player is the last player who defeated Iga Swiatek. It is Jelena Ostapenko. She had defeated Swiatek in the second round of the Dubai Tennis Championships. Since then, Iga Swiatek has not let anyone defeat her.
Who can defeat the polish player?
Interestingly, she has broken the longest record of Venus Williams of the longest consecutive wins. She now is the record holder with 36 undefeated consecutive wins. And as per Wozniacki’s picks, Swiatek is free of one contender. Serena Williams had to bid the Wimbledon 2022 farewell early because of her defeat in the first round.

Iga Swiatek has performed excellently in 2022 and she is training ardently to keep her streak alive. World no. 1 recently won her second grand slam title at the French Open 2022.
Now, she will face Lesley Pattinama Kerkhove from the Netherlands in the second round of Wimbledon.
