Oscar winner Viola Davis’ The Woman King will have a world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September. The movie is inspired by true events that took place in the 18th and 19th centuries in Africa.

Navratilova slams Djokovic’s PTPA
The tennis legend came out heavily against Novak Djokovic’s Professional Tennis Players Association. However, Navratilova had strong words against this organization. She said that the association was controversial and didn’t help the sport. Further, some of the big names in the sport like Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have distanced themselves from the PTPA.
Earlier this week, Djokovic suffered a fresh setback surrounding his US Open participation. The tournament released a statement that all but ruled out the Serb for the last Grand Slam tournament of the season. This will be a huge blow to Djokovic after his success at the Wimbledon Championships.
