However, seeing his daughter grow, the founder of the venture capital firm, Seven Seen Six, has been lately living in a confused state. As part of his training, Ohanian wants to teach Olympia ‘how to be bored’. However, even after multiple tries, he seems to have clearly failed.

However, in the plethora of Ohanian’s social media updates, someone who gets a regular mention is his daughter Olympia.
Yesterday was no different. Yesterday, the 12th of August, Ohanian took to his Twitter handle, expressing his concern to his followers. He wrote, “I think one of the most important things I can teach Olympia is how to be bored. This is a muscle I’m really trying to help her exercise regularly.”

Scrolling through the social media handles of Ohanian, one can see how Olympia doesn’t shy away from finding the entertainment factor in everything he does. While it may be a positive sign for many parents, that isn’t the case with Ohanian. Going ahead in the Twitter thread, he opened up about the difficulties he faces in his quest to see Olympia getting bored.
“It’s also been really hard because there’s always something entertaining close by (screen or toy usually) and the most success I’ve had is when we go for walks around the farm, but even that is kinda fun (e.g., chickens!),” he wrote.

Ohanian hopes to find a solution soon
Considering the length of the Twitter thread, it is needless to say that the situation is much more important to Ohanian. Going ahead in the Twitter thread, he revealed one of the ways in which he makes Olympia put on her creative cap. However, he also admitted that he isn’t sure about its success rate. The result? He asked for help from a renowned parenting book and website, ‘Good Inside’.

Many of his followers might wonder why Ohanian wants his daughter to be bored at an age where she should be enjoying every moment. However, the clear answer to the question was in Ohanian’s final tweet. According to the entrepreneurial giant, it was the sense of boredom that helped him strive for success. Needless to say, he wants to imbibe the same level of success in his daughter.
Ending the thread, he wrote, “My best ideas have come from when my brain can be in that flow state and just wandering / thinking / bored-but-not-bored. I want her to feel how awesome that is to tap into.”
