Heckled Danielle Collins demands respect at Madrid Open. Facing a set deficit against Jaqueline Cristian in their third-round clash, Danielle Collins (ranked 13th) found herself needing to address a disruptive spectator. As she prepared to serve in the second set, Collins fired back at the heckler, saying “You come out and you play. Come out here and do what I do, okay? Have a little more respect.” The 30-year-old American clearly aimed to use the incident as motivation, and it worked. She went on to win the second set, leveling the match score. However, the tennis fans online are simply thrashing her for her behavior on the tennis court.

Was she not the same person that said ‘shut your mouth’ to Maria Sakkari? It’s easy to dish it but not easy to take it,” said the fan who believes that it is easy to say things but not take it.
