Venus shares a piece of unfortunate about Serena Williams

Once the fans of the 7-time singles Grand Slam champion got to know that she was making her way back into the WTA Tour, their happiness touched the moon. Venus recently asked people to ask her questions through her Instagram story.

A lot of questions started popping up. Fans obviously want to know every detail about their favorite athlete’s life. One of the questions that popped up was, “What are the chances of you and Serena playing doubles tournaments in the future?” Since Venus announced that she will be back at the Birmingham tournament, fans were hoping for some good news for the doubles as well. They would do anything to watch the duo play together once again.

Unfortunately, Venus’ answer made it clear, that it may never happen again. To clear the air for her fans, she responded, “When Serena retired, I retired from doubles as well. When you have @serenawilliams as a partner, you have seen the glory at the mountaintop. You can’t go any higher! Sorry I don’t have better news”. 

Her statement is a clear indication of how much she respects her sister’s decision. She clearly states that after playing with the best, it was not possible for her to get a partner who was better than Serena.

Venus shares more with her fans on Instagram stories

Her journey of sharing stories and answering questions with her fans does not end here. She answered many other questions that her fans threw at her. Some of them included her favorite songs right now, her favorite museum visit, fragrance, and so much more. They also can be seen sending her best wishes for the Libema Open.
