The Canadian tennis player, Bianca Andreescu didn’t get the perfect start to the season as he faced an early round defeat at the Adelaide International. Andreescu had a great start to the match however she ended up losing the game. The WTA player further took to her social media to talk about her brutal defeat.

She also revealed her new perspective toward her performances after her recent defeat in South Australia. Despite a great performance, Andreescu was knocked out by the Russian tennis player, Veronika Kudermetova.

The former US Open champion started the season by participating in the WTA 500 tournament in South Australia. The start was what she would have been expecting as she defeated the Spanish tennis player,  Garbiñe Muguruza. She further took to her social media to talk about a great start to the season.

However, the Canadian star was stunned when she faced a brutal defeat in the round of 16 match of the tournament. Despite a solid start to the game, Andreescu was knocked out by the Russian tennis player, Veronika Kudermetova. With a brilliant start to the game, Andreescu won the first four games of the match in South Australia. But, the Russian got her momentum back and made an impressive comeback by clinching some amazing points.

Kudermetova pulled a great comeback in order to seal the first set of the thrilling match. In the second set, Kudermetova with a ruthless performance, cliched all six games and later won the match against Andreescu.

Consequently, the Canadian was stunned after facing elimination from the tournament. She further took to her social media to reveal her perspective toward her performances. Andreescu said, Sometimes you just gotta laugh sh*t off and hope for better next time”.

Where will Andreescu play next?

The Canadian star is on the entry list for the upcoming Grand Slam event in Melbourne. Along with some of the top WTA players, Andreescu’s name has been confirmed on that entry list for the Australian Open. She has already missed out on the previous season’s Grand Slam event in order to focus on her health.

She also doesn’t have the best record at the Australian Open as she faced early-round defeats at previous events. However, this season, Andreescu looks all geared up to add another Grand Slam title to her tally.
