It’s been eight months since Emma Raducanu has been away from the sport. But recently, she made a comeback and showed her athletic dedication once again ahead of the Australian Open. Even after being away for so many months, she was successful in making her way through the first round in Auckland. However, apart from her tennis prowess, it was her attire, and particularly her shoes, that grabbed a lot of attention.

If you are a Raducanu fan, you might be aware of the fact that she shares a sponsorship deal with Nike. But her Nike shoes for the Australian Open are something that added spark to her come-back spirit at its best.

The 21-year-old British tennis player has a huge sponsorship portfolio, having deals with Nike, Porsche, and Vodafone as some of her biggest backers in the greater picture. Rather than going for any customized sneakers, the Grand Slam champion went for Nike tennis sneakers, completing her comeback look with a perfect pink and black combination.

For her first-round clash in Auckland, the US Open champion wore the ‘NikeCourt Air Zoom Vapor 11 Premium shoe’ going perfectly with her pink tennis skirt.

After the ASB Classic, the former 10th-ranked tennis player was also seen wearing the same outfit for this year’s Australian Open.

The women’s hard-court tennis shoes are around £129.49 and are also available on the Nike site. While the pair of shoes is an upgraded version of the Vapor 11 sneakers, it’s specifically made for tennis players. Apart from her wholesome outfit and her competitive spirit, she might also find a major boost for her Grand Slam returns this year.

Raducanu to get a boost up in the Australian Open

Just a day ago, the news of Petra Kvitova withdrawing from the first Grand Slam tournament came to light due to her pregnancy. The news has opened up an opportunity for the Grand Slam champion to secure a spot directly in the main draw.

Moreover, with Kvitova’s withdrawal, Tamara Zidansek is the next player to secure her place in the main draw. But if she decides to withdraw, the 21-year-old tennis star is standing next in line. However, she will have to go through qualifiers and then make her way into the main draw of the Grand Slam tournament.
