Just days ahead of her return, Osaka announced her arrival in Brisbane and has hit her ground running. Taking to her Instagram, the 4-time grand slam winner shared her practice sessions while unveiling a feat that she has never achieved before in her life.

In the video shared on her Instagram, she hits tennis ball cans placed in a certain way during practice. But this time, something unexpected happened and she hit a ball so perfectly that it took the cover off the can, something she’d never done before.

Taking to her Instagram story,  she suggested that it is something that she has never done before. “Also, I want everyone to know I hit the sleeve off the can. That’s never happened to me before lol,” said Osaka in the story.

It’s a big deal because Osaka’s really good at tennis, and this shows she’s getting even better. With the Australian Open looming over, her fans would be excited to see how she performs after making a sensational comeback.

Osaka then went ahead to reveal that she wanted to be a good role model for her daughter Shai and let her see that this was an important chapter of her life.

“And you kind of have to cherish the years that you can play. I do want to be a good role model for Shai, and I want her to see that this was an important chapter in my life,” Naomi Osaka said.
