2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu has shared some exciting news for her fans in Canada. Notably, she has now collaborated with Amazon Canada and will tell fascinating tales over the summer through Alexa.
The 21-year-old Canadian announced the news on her Instagram handle. Moreover, she added stories to guide fans on how to interact with her through Alexa.

Bianca Andreescu joins #AlexaSummer with Amazon Canada
At 19 years of age, Andreescu achieved one of the biggest titles in tennis, the US Open 2019. Not to forget, she defeated tennis queen Serena Williams in the final.

Afterwards, the Canadian star hit a slump with injuries, followed by the pandemic break, injuries, and was then tested positive with the virus. In essence, Andreescu has experienced the greatest and also the lowest moments in tennis.
Now, after more than a year’s break, the reigning Canadian Open champion returned to the WTA Tour for the 2021 season. Despite up and down results, Andreescu is slowly but steadily finding her rhythm.
All in all, she has a great many stories to tell about her journey so far. Therefore, the announcement has only made her fans happier.

Tennis-wise, Andreescu withdrew from the ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020, citing lack of preparations as a reason. However, she is more than eager to represent her nation soon.

Where will Andreescu play next on the WTA Tour?
Remarkably, the young Canadian will now have the pressure to defend her title at home. That is, Bianca will contest at the National Bank Open in Montreal in 10 days.

Along with her, Japanese World No. 2 Naomi Osaka and two-time Grand Slam champion Simona Halep are also in the players’ field. Conversely, Venus and Serena Williams, World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty, and former World No. 1 Angelique Kerber will miss the tournament this year.
To sum up, the US Open Series is all set to kickstart soon and bring quality hard court tennis back. Only time will tell whose preparations will pay off and get them the US Open 2021 title.
