World No.9 Bianca Andreescu has been brilliant at the ongoing Miami Open 2021. She has made it to the semi-finals of the tournament and will face Maria Sakkari there. The US Open 2019 winner emphasized that the Original Nine has been the inspiration to many young players like her. She also thanked them for all their efforts in the sport.
“Thank you so much to the Original Nine for giving not only women in tennis but women in sports the opportunity and the inspiration to do what we do today,” added the 20-year-old player.
