She is ranked number one on that list by surpassing the tennis great by 10 million dollars. She finished the year with 51.1 million dollars as the highest earnings. She has finally moved one step closer to the top. The 23-time Grand Slam winner Williams, who finished the year with 41.3 million dollars after having a fantastic year on the tennis court, is right behind her.

However, tennis fans have a clear question how did the Japanese tennis player hold on to making so much money? Moreover, after struggling a lot this year.
