Serena Williams’ aura on the tennis court has created a different impact on the tennis world. She has been a part of the WTA tour for almost two decades before retiring. With her amazing comeback after every injury and struggle, she has always made it back to the competition.

But after her retirement from the sport, Williams fans are missing the tennis legend on the court and recalled one of the best Williams aura back in 2007. Her best comeback victory came in 2007, the Australian Open. However, one may also argue that her 2007 triumph is the best example of extreme skills and willpower.

Serena Williams’ fans recall her fiery walk

Before playing her final showdown against Maria Sharapova for the Australian Open title. The tennis fans recalled her fiery walk to the court with a purse in her hand, before the final and a look that said, “I’m about to win this match and I dare you to stop me” all over her face, according to her fans.

A fan questioned about what was inside the bag. He wrote, “WHAT WAS IN THAT PURSE??”

However, other fans talked about her best attitude she carried before even playing the game. One wrote, “lemme roll through here and beat that girl’s a*s real quick… I got sh*t to do! ”  Ugh. What a time.” and another fan wrote, “The purse and walk is giving “let’s hurry this up” and I am a fan.”

Further, a fan also hailed the tennis legend as a “QUEEN.”

For the Australian Open title, the former world number one beat Sharapova and achieved her most awaited comeback victory. Nevertheless, this was Serena‘s third title of the tournament and overall, she has won seven Australian Open Grand Slam titles.

Williams’ strongest comeback in 2007

For Williams, 2006 was a year of mistakes and difficulties. She had a knee injury at the start of the year and was out for over six months following the Australian Open. But for the remainder of the year, she only participated in three events after returning. The US Open and Cincinnati were two of the tournaments the 23-time Grand Slam champion competed in that year.
