Alexis Ohanian might have a packed schedule as a successful businessman, but when it comes to being a dad, he’s always ready for setting some serious #DadGoals. From flipping pancakes on lazy weekends to making the most of every moment with his little ones, this “Business Dad” knows how to balance the boardroom and bedtime stories like a pro. And now, Ohanian is positively beaming with pride over his elder daughter, Olympia. In a moment that left him both surprised and in awe, Olympia showcased incredible bravery, proving once again that she’s got her mom Serena Williams’ fearless spirit running through her veins.

The 41-year-old took her elder daughter Olympia to the magical world of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on November 27th. As the duo enjoyed their journey through the world of Batuu, an unexpected encounter with the infamous First Order added a twist to their fun outing. However, the seven-year-old depicted immense bravery and got into a fighting stance, depicting she was prepared to confront the figures. This seems to have left her father in awe. 

In a post shared by Olympia on her Instagram, she can be seen standing in front of the First Order figures. Captioning the post, she wrote, “They captured the wrong girl,” signifying her confidence. Her father, Alexis Ohanian, was quick to reshare the post on his Instagram story. Expressing his pride, he wrote, “That’s my girl.” He also made a similar remark on his X account earlier.  Sharing pictures from the outing, Ohanian wrote, “I was so proud of her for this reaction to being kidnapped by The First Order.” This, however, is not the first time when Ohanian’s love for his daughters has come to light. 

In a recent interview with Jemele Hill for her November 8th episode of Spolitics, Ohanian shared how his actions are aligned towards the aim of making her daughters proud. “I know they’ll be very proud of their mom because they’ll hear people saying all the time how they should be and rightly so. But I am a really competitive person and I want them to be unreasonably proud of me too,” he said in the interview. 

Besides he also took to his X in October, showered his admiration for his daughters, and wrote, “I’m so proud to be a father to two amazing little girls. An absolute blessing.” It’s lovely, isn’t it? But some critics feel it’s not ideal. The time he spends with his daughters has also witnessed some criticism from his business fraternity. But in true style, Ohanian knows how to shut off the critics.

Alexis Ohanian’s love for his daughters knows no bounds. However, many in the business fraternity believe that the time he spends with his children could be used to expand his business ventures. But the Reddit co-founder is clear about his priorities and shows no tolerance towards criticism, especially when the center of discussion is his children. 

Speaking in an interview with Taylor Smith for the Offseason NFC podcast, Ohanian opened up on the criticisms. “I have business folks I work with. I have got guys who sincerely think I am not nearly as committed as I am to success at work because they know that side of my persona,” he said. However, he was quick to clap back at the critics and highlighted how effectively he manages his personal and professional lives. Continuing further, he added, “And it’s so wild, because I’m like, bro I know I outwork you, I know my returns are better than you. But I think it’s cute that you have this idea that I can’t be showing up for my kids, making some pancakes, and also show up to beat your a–.”

Now, the latest outing to Disney World is yet another statement that Ohanian is making highlighting his dedication to his family. But amidst all these, one thing is certain: the latest outing will be a sweet chapter in the Ohanian-Williams family book of unforgettable moments!
