What a season it’s been for Coco Gauff! From a rocky start with fewer titles than she hoped for, the young American tennis sensation turned things around in style. Not only did she clinch the prestigious China Open, but she also capped off the year with a dazzling victory at the WTA Finals in Riyadh. Now, as the season winds down, Gauff is taking a well-earned break, spending quality time with her friends and family. But it’s her latest outing with boyfriend Jalen Sera that has everyone talking!
The American tennis sensation took to her Instagram story to share a string of pictures from her outing to Tyler, the Creator’s annual music festival, Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in California. She was accompanied by her boyfriend Sera and a couple of other friends, who attended the live performances of artists like Daniel Caesar, Omar Apollo, and Tyler, the Creator. Captioning the pictures, the star player wrote, “year 2 at camp 🏕️,” expressing her joy. However, what further caught attention was the discussion between her and her boyfriend on social media, as the two expressed their love for the entire event.
Responding to Gauff’s post, Sera wrote, “Hall of fame campers,” expressing his praise for the carnival. The 20-year-old WTA Star was quick to respond to Sera, affirming his praise and wrote, “GOAT campers.” Interestingly, Gauff’s appreciation for the singer has been visible time and again, and this is not the first time she has attended the carnival.

Coco Gauff visited the event last year too, after the WTA Finals, and attended the carnival in California. She shared several pictures from the outing on her Instagram and wrote, “I went to Camp.” This year too, she depicted immense admiration for the rapper ahead of her WTA Finals campaign and said, “I saw him perform live when I was 15 for the first time. I went to his music festival last year, I have tickets to go again this year.” But while the carnival is not new for Gauff, it was definitely her first visit to Tyler’s show after he recently honored the star player through his song.
Remember, in the latest track ‘Thought I was D-ad,’ the rapper featured Gauff’s tennis prowess. Around the 28-second mark, fans can hear Tyler rapping, “B–ch, you ain’t Coco Gauff, you can’t serve me.” This provided immense happiness to the American player who expressed her joy time and again on social media. But it was not just Gauff who depicted joy as her boyfriend, Sera, also expressed similar sentiments over the honor.

When Jalen Sera expressed immense ecstasy over Coco Gauff’s mention in Tyler, the Creator’s album
Jalen Sera and Coco Gauff have often caught headlines. From social media PDA to adorable outings, the couple has often highlighted their blossoming love. And this love was witnessed yet again when Tyler, the Creator featured Gauff in his track last month which not just excited the player herself, but her boyfriend as well.
Taking to his Instagram story, Sera posted the original video from Tyler’s Instagram post and wrote, “YACGYCSM,” signifying his extreme happiness and loss for words. And this was well justified given the fact that Sera himself is a big music buff. Remember, the Instagram bio of Coco Gauff’s boyfriend reads, “Artist” signifying his interest in art forms. His passion was also revealed by Gauff during an interview with Vogue, where she said, “He’s a very nice guy. He’s about to apply for music school.” Detailing his passion further, Gauff added, “He wants to be an actor and he plays the guitar.”
